A raised garden bed made with concrete blocks?!? A clever solution!

Probably, if you do not have a corner dedicated to a kitchen garden despite having a green area it is due to problems with space.

Many find themselves having to give up growing their own vegetables because they do not have enough area space available!

However, today we are going to demonstrate that a simple structure can greatly improve the organization of your kitchen garden and help you create space for other horticultural plants as well.

Here is how to build a raised garden bed with concrete blocks.

By using concrete blocks, it is possible to easily establish an area dedicated to your kitchen garden efficiently and economically.

Overlay at least two layers of concrete blocks to create enough depth to allow the plant roots develop freely.

The advantage of putting this kind of fenced off area in your garden is not just to keep the space clean and in order, but it also gives you the possibility to improve the composition of your soil if it is missing some component --- just fill the area with the specific type of soil that is needed.

You can also use the concrete block holes to plant smaller plant species such as flowers and herbs.

Or you can leave the holes empty and use space to store the gardening tools you use most often.

Here is an example of a raised cement block kitchen garden bed, installed inside a small garden. In this way, you will also have the chance to grow your own vegetables and herbs!
