At the Paralympics ceremony -- she falls and gets up --- all stand to applaud!

The official opening of the 2016 Summer Paralympics, the fifteenth Summer Paralympic Games, was held in the spectacular Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Like every year, during the ceremony, the indomitable fighting spirit of the disabled athletes, is perceived and confirmed as they challenge their opponents and their own bodies.

Brazil appointed Marcia Malsar to carry the Olympic torch, the first Brazilian ever to win a paralympic gold medal, winning the 200m at the 1984 Summer Paralympics.

During the ceremony, Malsar, due to her slender body being compromised by cerebral palsy, accidently let the heavy torch slip and she also fell to the ground, but by promptly getting up the athlete took the opportunity to show everyone her tenacity . . .
