This London bridge is like many others --- but wait until it starts to move!
If you ever find yourself in London, namely in Paddington, do not miss the chance to see or walk across one of the most curious bridges in your life!
Namely, a bridge called the "Rolling Bridge", a movable bridge which folds in on itself to let the ships on the Grand Union Canal pass through when it is not being used.
This unique bridge was conceived by British designer Thomas Heatherwick and built and completed in 2004.
The movable bridge consists of eight triangular sections which curl around themselves completely powered by hydraulic pumps. Here in the video we see the bridge in action!
