In the midst of so much pain and suffering and the bad news that comes every day due to the Coronavirus pandemic, fortunately there are people who, occasionally, with their stories, have great power to give a little more hope not only to those who are ill, but to the whole world.

Just like Daniel, a young 21 year old Englishman suffering from cystic fibrosis, who managed to overcome the bad experience of Covid-19 and wanted to send everyone a message of courage and optimism.

Daniel was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of 4. It is an already very serious clinical condition which, among other organs, particularly affects the lungs and bronchi. It goes without saying, then, that contracting Coronavirus, for this young man, was not a good thing at all. Hospitalized for two weeks and after a period of quarantine at home, however, Daniel managed to overcome this terrible invisible enemy.

Once tested negative for the virus, the 21-year-old realized that his case could be an example of motivation and hope for many sick people. Knowing that, in certain cases, it is possible to survive this illness even if you have always been suffering from diseases that weaken and put you at risk more than normal, can certainly be a big relief for many.

Theyoung man, therefore, told the world about his symptoms and his experience, inviting anyone affected by Coronavirus not to panic or to have overly negative thoughts, trying to concentrate, with all the strength and courage possible, on his recovery. When his condition began to improve, Daniel decided, of his own free will, to spend the rest of the convalescence at home, to leave room for other people in the intensive care unit where he was hospitalized.

"We can beat this!" he wrote on a sheet with which he photographed himself. Never before, as in this dark moment, the world needs stories like this and a little hope.
