1. Walking. Leading a sedentary life is one of the main causes of varicose veins. Therefore, getting more exercise, even just taking a good walk every day, and promotes good circulation.

2. Massage. Since varicose veins are basically stagnant blood, you can facilitate their disappearance by massaging the affected area. Apply firm and delicate pressure. You can also use oils to help you relax.

3. Compression stockings. Compression stockings are in effect medical devices indicated for leg circulation problems. They work by reducing the elasticity of blood vessels and producing a smoother blood flow.

4. Garlic. To be eaten, or applied directly. Garlic contains allicin, a substance that prevents the inflammation of blood vessels. You can add a little more garlic to your dinner meal or put it in an ointment based in olive oil and orange juice to spread directly on the affected area.

5- Apple vinegar.  We also recommend the use of apple cider vinegar which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and for reducing swelling. You can drink one tablespoon a day, diluted with water, or apply it directly on the area while massaging gently.

6- Mud packs. Another solution is mud packs on your legs which reduce inflammation and are good for the skin. Even better is the type of clay that has anti-fatigue effects and removes toxins.

7- Hamamelis extract. Also known as "witch's grass" its extracts contain tannin which returns the elasticity of the varicose veins to their natural state. Furthermore, it reduces inflammation.
