There are few aromas more magical than those emanated by citrus fruits and in fact, aromatic citrus essences are widely used in baking. For a snack or a healthy breakfast, however, you do not have to resort to store-bought products because it does not take much to make your own fragrant and delicious cookies!

Here is how to make orange cookies quickly and without any complicated procedures.

2. Once the potato starch has been mixed in well, start adding the flour, a little at a time. When the dough is sufficiently solid, then place it on the tabletop and start to knead it.

3. From the dough, make balls of equal size and place them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make the cavity where you are going to put the orange flavored cream by using a juicer (sprinkle flour on the tip so that it will not stick to the dough).

5. While the cookies are baking, squeeze into a small saucepan, the juice from the orange you used to obtain the orange zest, add one tablespoon of sugar, a half tablespoon of corn starch and a few drops of natural orange extract. Put the sauce pan on a low fire and stir constantly until the cream is thick (about 3 minutes). With the help of two teaspoons fill the cavities in the baked cookies --- and now they are ready to be served!
