When something is too much, it's too much; sometimes people can't seem to act in the correct way and unwittingly take it out on the weakest and most innocent individuals, without thinking of the consequences of their actions. And who is there to right these type of wrongs in this world? Nobody, unless someone is willing to roll up their sleeves and decide to take on the problems and injustices they witness. A bit like this brave dad did, who is causing a lot of discussion on the web after his decision to pay off all the school canteen's, so as to allow even the most needy children to have access to food.

The father we want to tell you about today is called Simon Harris, he has four children who attend the Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle school in Penygroes, a small town in Wales, and he  with pleaded the headmaster of the school when the latter decided to block the canteen services to all those families, and consequently to all the little pupils, who had not yet paid their debt.

The controversy erupted just as the school principal, Neil Foden, wrote to the parents in a letter that the school cook had been instructed not to serve any child with food "if their bill had not been paid"; in short, no child would have gotten food from the cafeteria if their parents owed even a penny to the school. A madness that Simon Harris could not tolerate any longer.

On his side, Neil Foden, the principal of the school, said: "We don't want to make a drama out of this, but realistically, those parents who can pay, continue to not pay their debt and in the meantime the school is going into the red, something has to be done!"

To sort out this somewhat unfortunate situation, Simon Harris has decided to pay off the parents' debts to the school by hainding over £1,800 out of his own pocket, putting an end to this madness that many of these children will not be able to access the canteen services when they need it: "I just made this genuine offer to the Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle school management on Twitter. I will absolutely cover their canteen deficit if that will stop the madness of potentially starving children. All I care about is putting a lid on this madness and feeding the children. "

A wonderful gesture from a father who is certainly very, very special!
