Cheap Vodka?! Wait do not throw it away! Here's why! ;)
First of all, if you are not big drinkers you may find that you have a bottle of vodka at home and not know what to do with it.
If you are thinking it away, do not do it! Below we will show you some uses for vodka that could be helpful in many situations, for example, to remove a band-aid without hurting yourself or to clean windows impeccably!
So get yourself a spray bottle and keep in mind what we are going to tell you next!
1 - Relieve sore and painful muscles
Prepare a mix of water and vodka in equal parts in a sealed plastic bag and place it in the freezer. Once the water has crystallized, you will have a small and convenient ice bag to put on bruises or sore muscles.
2 - Keep fresh cut flowers longer
To make your fresh flowers last longer add a spoonful of sugar and a few drops of vodka to the water in the flower vase and you will see that flowers will stay fresh longer.
3 - Remove a band-aid without suffering
If you want to remove a band-aid without suffering, moisten a piece of cotton gauze or part of a cloth handkerchief in some vodka and rub it over the band-aid until the glue has lost its adhesive grip. At that point removing the band-aid will be super easy.
For the next vodka hacks, you will need to fill a plastic spray bottle with vodka.
4 - Foot deodorant spray: In this case, mix a little water with some vodka and spray it on your feet to solve the bad odor problem.
5 - Eliminate odors from your clothes: If you have been in a restaurant and now your clothes smell of fried food, just sprinkle vodka on the clothes in question and leave them out in the open for a few hours. You will see that the problem will be resolved.
6 - Treat jellyfish (Medusa) stings: Spray or pour pure vodka on the affected part to relieve the burning pain caused by jellyfish stings.
7 - Insect repellent: Spray vodka mixed with fresh basil leaves and essential lavender oil to keep away annoying insects.
8 - Remove stains: If your sofa has been stained, spray some vodka and water on the stain and wipe with a damp cloth to remove the stain completely.
9 - Deodorize smelly shoes: Just sprinkle some vodka inside the shoes and let it aerate for an hour --- and say goodbye to the terrible smell.
