Strawberries are among the most popular fruits of the summer season and, like other red fruits, they represent an excellent source of potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and calcium.

As you know, however, strawberries tend to spoil easily and that is why we just buy a small amount rather than stock up on them.

However, the trick to keeping them fresh and firm for a long time exists and it is simpler than you might think!

Leave the strawberries to soak for a few minutes to allow the vinegar to eliminate mold spores and bacteria. When you transfer the strawberries to another container, you will be able to see in the water a quantity of residue that you have never noticed before!
