These wooden pallets were to be thrown away, but a family had a brilliant idea and got excellent results!

If you are not good at DIY and creative art and craft work, you will be heartened to hear that a family has managed to create a magnificent piece of furniture for their home, starting with simple wooden pallets.

Of course, the project required time and patience before they could see it completed and declare themselves satisfied, but all the work and effort was definitely worth it.

The family also enjoyed especially the moments of collaboration, fun, and support that during this period were certainly not lacking!

These pallets were used when they moved house and were to be thrown away. But the family decided to keep them and to use them in a very ambitious project.

The first processing that the wooden pallets required was the removal of all the nails and the separation of the individual wooden slats and even the youngest members of the family contributed.

Thanks to their very efficient teamwork, more than 9000 nails were extracted.

Subsequently, the wooden slats were cut, smoothed, and polished with special machines.

This phase required more time and energy than they had imagined, so strong arms were called on for help.

When each board has been smoothed they started laying the slats on the floor. Now it was clear what the family had in mind --- a pallet wood floor!

Fortunately, everyone continued to work hard to get the job done!

At the end of the work, after painting and polishing, all their effort gave its results.

The final effect is magnificent! The alternation of light and dark wood makes the environment warm and inviting.
