Sweat glands are glands that are present in mammals. The function of the sweat glands is to regulate body temperature by producing perspiration aka sweat.

This function is extremely important for us as human beings because it is the only way that our bodies can dissipate our body heat. As a matter of fact, no part of the human body is excluded from sweating, even the fingertips of our hands perspire aka sweat.
