From this daily problem, Drew Ann extrapolated an idea that led her to invent a combined means of transport and shopping cart which aims precisely to help people in the same situation.

Faced with the problem of having to go shopping with a disabled daughter to look after, Drew Ann Long decided to create the solution that would solve the problem.

She has named it "Caroline's Cart" and it is a shopping trolley with a built-in seat that can accommodate one adult.
Drew's invention has been very successful and has been acquired by many supermarket chains. What is more, this idea is also suitable for use by those without disabilities, perhaps for example, for older people who tire easily.
