A Retiring Professor Receives An Emotional Farewell!

The "Haka" dance is a tradition that originates with the Maori people in New Zealand. This is not just a dance of intimidation preceding an act of war, it is also used to express feelings of joy and to give thanks in a show of gratitude.

The Haka was made famous by the All Blacks, a rugby team from New Zealand. In fact, this video was shot in New Zealand in a classroom filled with hundreds of students performing a rousing and unforgettable Haka dance to say farewell to a professor who was going into retirement.
